Johannes Kiniger,a maker that combines technical knowledge with handcrafting. After working several years for an electrical engineering company, and looking for a more biophilic profession, decided to quit his job and founded his sustsainbale Startup High Society. .

Its objective as a creative manufacturing studio is to recover the genuine connection between mother nature and human beings through the powerful language of design..

Created in 2015 , and located in South Tyrol, the heart of the Dolomites, High Society focuses on vegetable lighting to achieve this goal, through the creation of unique pieces of lighting made of upcycled natural psychoactive materials whose tulips are created by a compression moulding technique to give them the organic form that characterizes them.

The company aims to underline the importance of evaluating waste as a primary resource. As part of their ecodesign politics their consume the renewable energy from hydropower of the Alperia Group, which provides the Green Energy Label
