Rug Solid was established in 2012 with the clear vision of contributing to develope a sustainable world.

Leading by example, they believe it is their responsibility to challenge existing production processes. walking the extra mile, to push both design and sustainability standards within the interior industry.

Everything they create is made from sustainable materials, varying from recycled fishnets and up-cycled leather to organic materials such as jute and much more.

They collaborate with a village of skilled artisans from India that have acquired unique methods of handcrafting rugs from the various materials they use and print all of their attachments on recycled paper, have automatic dimmers on their warehouse light for when the daylight is sufficient and all their shippings are carbon neutral, which lead them to acquire the “Global Recycled Standard” certificate. This means that their production is continuously controlled by an external partner to ensure good conditions for both people and the environment from start to finish.

Sustainability, this is the attribute embodied by the spirit of Rug Solid, and lives through everything they make.
