General description of Lamparajilla table lamp

LAMPARAJILLA, project done for Disseny Hub, where the artists had two months to present one product over the limits that has currently the designer.

In this project the designer colaborated with Max Enrich, they created a set of lights from recovered tableware molds. They decided to use self-production, by craft o proximity industrial production to a smaller scale, although often self-production tends to complicate the processes and to be more economically expensive.

The source of inspiration for the proyect took place in the premises of the mythical Aguadè company, where the designer has his studio work. In front of him, the difficulty of producing measured molds for the ceramic object manufacture, they proposed the reuse of traditional dishes and urns molds to produce lights desktop. The reuse is done from the modification and recombination of the molds to adapt them to the own light needs.

Lamparavajillas es a reflection of the limitations that designers need to face when producing objects/products.
