General description of Peak footstool

Peak Footstool is designed to match Peak Lounge Chair, but might also be used as a standalone sculptural stool. The footstool consists of 25 respective sub-elements made of laminated birch veneer individually oiled and waxed to provide the wood with a smooth and silky finish. The product design is done using 3d technology. Once the basic form is found, the objective is to define the lines as a whole, maintaining the satisfactory joints between the elements. After several prototypes of persevering work the final design is defined. Waste of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanding a machine and a hand.
