The bench can be used in lobbies and similar spaces, where its function can be both an attractive bench and a sculpture.The bench is composed of 42 sub-elements made of birch plywood veneer individually oiled and waxed to provide the wood with a smooth, silky finish. The design of the product is made using 3d technology.
Once the basic shape is found, the objective is to define the lines in their entirety, maintaining satisfactory joints between the elements, after several prototypes of persevering work the final design is defined, the different pieces of wood are processed by milling machine generating a minimum of waste of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanded by machine and by hand.
