HINAKI designed by David Trubridge

Based on fish traps which are called Hīnaki by Māori. Hīnaki's traps were made of woven vines, some in incredibly beautiful shapes.

General description of HINAKI

Kōura light pendant was inspired by woven baskets and also the New Zealand's native freshwater kojura, kōura, which is its Maori name. Kōura comes in 5 sizes ranging from 500mm in height to 2400mm in height. The plywood finish can be all natural, caramel or painted on one side thus creating a stock selection of 11 options
