Woodglass was created in 2011 by Martín Rendo, designer and photographer and Arturo Gutiérrez, who began to design and manufacture wooden glasses in their workshop on the outskirts of Santiago de Compostela, motivated by the idea of creating a unique and handmade product, acquiring a total commitment to the environment and sustainable systems.
After 4 years of working with wood, they saw the need to find a frame that would fit more precisely with the regular optics and that could be graded, bringing a long search for new materials that would maintain the essence of maca and, in turn, allow them to achieve this precision, they found the solution in Acetate Mazzucchelli, 100% organic and biodegradable from cotton fiber and wood.
Currently, Woodglass manufactures glasses in wood and organic acetate 100% ecological, always committed to work on the advancement and improvement of its products as well as R&D for future products in the sector of sustainability and the environment.
