General description of Tyren the bull

A wide range of streamlined curves together generate this powerful abstract bench. The bench might be used in lobbies and similar spaces, where its function can be both an eye-catching bench and sculpture. The Bench consists of 42 sub-elements made of laminated birch veneer individually oiled and waxed to provide the wood with a smooth and silky finish. The product design is done using 3d technology. Once the basic form is found, the objective is to define the lines as a whole, maintaining the satisfactory joints between the elements. After several prototypes of persevering work the final design is defined. Waste of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanding a machine and a hand.
