Beschreibung

The link shelf is a junction between a piece of decorative wall art, and usable shelf system. The shape of the shelf joins on one side the smooth and round, and on the other side, the sharp and pointed. Two interconnected poles. The shelf is composed of 14 sub-elements made of birch veneer laminated individually oiled and waxed to provide the wood with a smooth and silky finish. The design of the product is done using 3D technology.

Once the basic shape is found, the objective is to define the lines in their entirety, maintaining satisfactory joints between the elements, after several prototypes of persevering work the final design is defined, the different pieces of wood are processed by milling machine generating a minimum of waste of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanded by machine and by hand.
Available in length 180 cm and 240 cm.
