Description
Recovered sails from modern Maxi Yachts are used to make the custom-made awnings. The fabric is a membrane reinforced with Dyneema®, which is an incredibly strong and ultra-light fibre used in sectors that demand extreme strength. The Dyneema membrane of these sails is reinforced with aramid and carbon fibres. This backlit material is spectacular, providing both a dense shade and a beautiful textured effect through which natural or other lighting is attenuated, giving an appearance reminiscent of traditional natural heathered roofs.
This material can be fire-retardant treated to Euro code classification C-s2, d0, suitable for interiors.
Every space is different and determining the shape, size and type of support for shade sails can be complex. That is why at Dvelas we have a team of architects and designers who work in unison to guarantee our clients technical support, based on images and dimensions provided by the client, by means of which we propose possible solutions in 3D format to visualise the optimum installation. Manufacturing is carried out in our own workshop, ensuring rigorous control of the process and coordination between design and production.
DVELAS certifies that all its products are made from recovered sails whose origin data (the ship of origin, its port of origin, the type of sail and the original manufacturer) are identified on a sewn label, as well as accompanied by an original certificate.
GUIDING PRICE:200€/m2. The final cost will depend on the final technical characteristics of each shading project.
each shading project. It includes carabiners, pulleys, ropes, ropes, cleats etc. It does not include masts, footings and structures.
ACCESSORIES NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE (can be purchased separately):
– Sujeción de mástil al suelo (247€): The mast can be attached to the ground by means of an anchoring piece screwed to a concrete slab of at least 15 cm thick or a 60x60x60 cm concrete footing.
– Mástil de unión (140€): Sometimes it is necessary to cut the mast for transport, however, it can be connected by means of an internal connecting piece.
– Four-rail mast (140€): DVELAS has designed its own mast that incorporates four rails of variable height that allow the height of the sail to be changed quickly and also allow several sails to be held at the same time.
– Mast attachment to a wall (212€): By means of steel plates we can attach the mast to a wall and change its orientation.
– Fixing by means of a turnbuckle system with a fixed turnbuckle (65€): This consists of a turnbuckle attached to an eyebolt by means of a shackle and to the sail.
a shackle and to the sail by another shackle. It allows to change the length of the tensioning system by 10 cm.
* DVELAS makes it possible to adapt the fabric to different existing structures. Each new project is an exciting challenge with which we grow and learn, giving the different spaces a unique personality thanks to the flexible, lively and distinctive character of our sails. Do not hesitate to contact Ekohunters with the project specifications.
* They have several treatments:
– Cs2d0 flame retardant treatment.
-ECOSAIL air cleaning treatment. It reacts to sunlight decomposing pollutant gases and generating oxygen.
